Staff and Coaches

Luis A Ortega, Director
Currently residing in Tucson, Arizona, Luis A Ortega is a graduate of the
University of Arizona where he received a Bachelor of Science in Political
Science with a minor emphasis in Music Education. Luis is the head coach
and director of the SCI Rebels where he has led the program to numerous local,
state, regional, and national titles. He has approximately 20 years experience in
coaching and choreographing within the cheerleading and dance industry. Luis
holds current credentials with USASF, AACCA, NFHS, and AIA Arizona. He has
taught and completed choreography for many high schools, pop-warner teams, and
all-star programs within the west coast region. Luis also judges many local,
state, and national cheerleading and dance competitions.
